A long weekend of intensive mbira playing,Shona style singing,hosho playing,dancing and rhythm. Come to enjoy and learn from 3 unique teachers Gwenyambira,Chartwell Dutiro Zimbabwe,Denise Rowe UK and Emily Bryant Scotland.
Whether you are totaly new to mbira playing and want to learn,or already play and want the opportunity to play with others and learn more,this weekend will be a fantastic experience of playing mbira,singing,dance,hosho playing,as well as Shona culture,Zimbabwe traditions and food. Catering by Michael Cole – vegetarian/vegan plus Zimbabwean traditional food (sadza). There are a limited number of pitches and the farm operates a no dogs policy.
