It’s with great reverence to this amazing lighthouse of African music that I share this video with you. Made with love of mbira At ambuya’s house in Chitungwiza , Zimbabwe in January 2013. Just finished editing the video last night and showed it to 150 people at Camp Mabina in Santa Fe , New mexico where she visited and taught in the past. A lot of people were really touched and sad to hear of her passing. We prayed and held a minute of silence, watched the video and played nhemamusasa and danced hard late into the night in sweet remembrance of her inspiring life . She will be missed dearly. rip ambuya .
