It is another September and another Mbira Month has begun. An official launch is happening in Harare today at The Mbira Centre with worldwide activities throughout September. Please see the flyer below for details of the launch.

The Book Café – ‘Chiwoniso Tuesdays’ featuring Rutendo & Nhare Mbira Ensemble – 8pm $5
Wednesday 4
ZIFTESSA – (Zimbabwe Film and Television School of Southern Africa) 57 Mazowe St. “Jazztales” an mbira film by Albert Chimedza. The film features Sekuru Gora in concert. Screening will be followed by a discussion. – 2pm Open to everyone. Free
The Book Café – Punky Reggae Party with Chikwata.263 & Mic Inity & Red Radicals $5 early/$10later – 9pm
Friday 6
